About Our Teaching Artists

Kylie Proudfoot-Payne

Kylie is a resident of Barbour County and graduate of Davis & Elkins College with a BA in psychology/human services and art education. She is a landscape painter and dabbles in a variety of different art mediums. Kylie prefers to focus as a teaching artist on the elements of art with a scientific perspective while strengthening the students drawing and perceptual skills. While not in a classroom in Randolph County Schools she is usually creating her own large landscape paintings, working with Wendy Clark in her weaving studio, Creating Fabric Sculptures for Drawn to Hold, or parenting her dancing and energetic daughters.
