About Our Teaching Artists

Diana Vera

Diana Vera is an improvisational artist by nature, and an arts educator by choice. She teaches therapeutic and healing arts through dance, visual art and creative writing. Diana is a graduate of Davis and Elkins College with a BA in Expressive Arts Therapy and has worked professionally as an actor, dancer, choreographer, costumer, vocalist and musician for over 20 years. She combines  art, song, movement, creative writing and improvisation for “expressive arts tuning” to explore the creative process with her students. She also teaches movement with nature in The Earth & the Arts Program with ArtsBank
